Book Alula Ever by Assouline
Description
A travel destination like no other, AlUla is a breathtaking oasis in Saudi Arabia where ancient sites are brought into conversation with modern progress. A spectacularly preserved cultural and historical masterpiece, AlUla has existed for millennia and has only recently been opened to international travelers. From the old town to rare wildlife, this destination offers a plethora of wonders to discover.
Start the day in a luxury villa, surrounded by a beautiful desert landscape. A vintage Land Rover arrives, ready to transport visitors through Hegra, an archaeological wonderland with carefully tended Nabataean tombs dating from the first century BCE. Then, perhaps catch an action-packed match at the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo tournament or get lost among the verdant date palms of the AlUla Oasis. As night falls, enjoy a world-class performance at the Maraya Concert Hall, followed by a magical stargazing tour. And the next day, a whole new series of adventures awaits you. AlUla Ever offers readers a front-row seat to the cultural, historical and creative wonders of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
