About the Author

Mai Eldib is a cultural strategist and specialist in the visual arts and culture of the Arab world, Iran and Turkey. Eldib has worked at Sotheby's since 2008 and has contributed to numerous artist monographs and exhibition catalogs at the auction house and throughout the region. Eldib has supported several institutional exhibitions and serves on committees of global and local museums and non-profit organizations that promote Middle Eastern art. For the past decade, Eldib has called Cairo home.
